What is a day-of coordinator?
Every day-of coordinator is mad that the title is “day-of,” because we all know it’s actually month-of! Starting a few weeks before your big day, we become best friends, and any thought that crosses your mind that you want to happen on your day goes straight to me.
We like to say we execute the vision that you create. You have spent a year (or more!) getting ready for your special day and we want you to actually be able to enjoy it! Whatever you have planned for the day, let us take the stress out of your hands by communicating with vendors, running the timeline, and being the go-to person for questions during the day so you can relax.
-
Do you provide any resources?
Yes! When you decide to work with us, not only do we become a team with access to our experience, but we also send a wedding planning packet with a checklist and timeline template so you can start to see how your day will take shape.
We always bring my “wedding emergency kit” that has all sorts of goodies to help the day go smoothly.

Do you charge a travel fee?
Locations within 10 miles of our office are included. After that, it’s $1/mile.
Venues that are 90+ miles from Portland require an overnight fee of $200/night

Oh no! Something went wrong!
We’ll be honest - things going wrong is part of what makes a wedding memorable. Fun on the dance floor? Absolutely. A golf cart full of inebriated and confused cosplayers dressed as wizards zooming into your ceremony? You can’t make that up! People will remember it forever. We’re here to make sure any emergencies that occur are remembered as fun, not catastrophic.
-
When do you leave?
Once the day is coordinated, we head out! This is typically once the dancing starts.

Do you have backup?
Rose & Fern Events is a small team but we support each other! Kaila and the team are here to make your special day go off without a hitch. We also have many contacts within the industry should something go sideways.
